Resus Interprofessional Simulations HGH

At OUH, there is a strong emphasis on teaching. In the Horton ED resus room, simulations based on real life cases are performed every Friday. These simulations are carried out under the supervision of Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthetic, Medical and Orthopaedics Consultants and Senior Registrars.  The sessions are aimed not only at learning to manage particular presentations, but also to improve teamwork and team leadership skills.

Purpose and Background

The medical simulation program has been created to meet the specific needs of the Emergency Department at the Horton General Hospital
